Kinda Sorta Bye, Bye, Bye

Filmed early June, 2024. The title is referencing a video that was filmed ~ ’08 in Humboldt County -    • Bye Bye Bye   This video showed a bigger fir that took off down over the bank and “went for days”. The tree in this video went right across the nicer fir from the last video posted -    • 400 on a PHATTY!   which was a little exciting to get the 1st cut off of. The process here is to get the timber on the ground and bucked up as best as possible - but mostly, live to tell... Tall(er) trees and short(er) ground in this strip equaled precarious bucking positions. It’s been more than all of the clearcuts I’ve been in if memory serves. In fact, the three years of fire reduction thinning that I’ve been a part of in this particular part of the NorCal Coast, has netted more downhill side bucking operation than in my entire career as well. Early stages, as mentioned, of the Max-Flow superior air flow (both in efficiency & cfm) system for the Stihl ms362/400 (the real one…). I enjoy testing for the world famous Max-Flow Inc. operation. It’s definitely a learning process. Because,,, Mr. MAXIMUM really knows his stuff! Thanks for watching.
