In order to avoid frequently making new videos (each with a new link), I'll be posting information about bugs or previously omitted information to this Description section. 08-15-2022: The shoreline digitization tool's unsupervised classification algorithm does not automatically identify land versus water pixels, whereas the other algorithms do. Therefore, the user may have to do a little extra processing for water surface area estimation using the output polygons from unsupervised classification. This processing may be as simple as manually selecting the water body polygon from the output. Or, if the output polygons actually represent land, the user can create a single polygon (CreateConstantRaster tool then RasterToPolygon tool) matching the image extent then use the Erase tool with the tool's output land polygon(s) as the "erase features" and the newly created single polygon as the "in_features."
