GRID IRN CRU | 2026 | WEEK 5

This week’s show — sponsored by Walkabout Glasgow — Michael, Keith and Andy are back with their Week 5 highlights. From the 49ers–Seahawks thriller to the Jaguars’ dramatic London win over the Eagles, the lads pick out the results that changed their minds. The Vikings remain unbeaten, while the Chargers and Titans are still searching for their first win. Inspired by James Ahervey’s listener question, we debate the value of a reliable backup quarterback. With Tyler Huntley and Drew Lock stepping in, could a dependable QB2 be the difference between keeping a season alive and watching it unravel? We also ask whether either of the 0–5 teams can turn things around and finish with a winning record. Then it’s clock-management chaos, costly fumbles and a tricky running-back dilemma: would you take 100 yards and a fumble, or 70 yards and a safe pair of hands? Plus, after five weeks, which teams do we trust — and which have us worried? From Scotland to the NFL — this is Grid Irn-Cru.
