Curious, we turned our vehicle towards the farm—and were amazed to see rows upon rows of date palm trees loaded with fruit as far as the eye could see. The farm’s caretaker warmly welcomed us and gave us a tour, showing us the different stages involved in the preparation of dates. We also had the wonderful opportunity to taste fresh dates straight from the farm. Seeing such a beautiful and productive agricultural farm flourishing in the harsh environment of the Thal Desert was truly heartwarming.
