The Fin House, Fort Kochi | Award-Winning Architecture | Le Platino Showcase

How do you design an urban home that balances privacy, natural light, ventilation, and a strong connection to its climate? In this episode of Le Platino Showcase, we explore The Fin House, an award-winning residence in Fort Kochi designed by ENVID. Through a conversation with the architect, discover the ideas and design decisions behind a home that transforms the constraints of a compact urban plot into an opportunity for thoughtful architecture. Spread across 2,677 sq. ft. on a 5.6-cent plot, The Fin House brings together architectural fins, courtyards, filtered daylight, natural airflow, and carefully composed spatial volumes. Each element contributes to a home that feels open yet private, contemporary yet rooted in its context. Recognised with the Gold Award for Best Residence at the Vanitha Veedu Architecture Awards 2026, the project demonstrates how climate-responsive design, materiality, and attention to detail can shape a distinctive living experience. Through the Le Platino Showcase, we bring you closer to the architects, their ideas, and the details that contribute to exceptional spaces.
