Attack from Mars (Bally 1995) VPX (DT)

Attack from Mars, released by Bally in December 1995, is an iconic solid-state pinball machine celebrated for its fast "fan" layout and campy 1950s sci-fi humor. Designed by Brian Eddy with software by Lyman Sheats, the game tasks players with repelling a Martian invasion by defending world cities and eventually "Ruling the Universe" in its legendary four-ball wizard mode. Its playfield is dominated by a shaking central flying saucer bash-toy, four wiggling Martians, and high-intensity strobe lighting. Despite a relatively modest original production run of 3,450 units, its massive popularity led to a high-end remake series by Chicago Gaming Company in 2017. Known for its over-the-top billion-point scoring and witty callouts voiced by Doug Watson, it remains a "top-ten" essential for collectors and players alike.
