Nostalgia Spectrum (remakes): Donkey Kong by Artonapolis

As recommended to be by ‪@trewlove‬here is Donkey Kong by Artonapolis. This is a truly amazing game and really shows what pushing the machine can really achieve. On the surface it's the classic Donkey Kong but under the hood you can see how z80 machine code really pushes the game to new heights with colour bars and way more colours than is actually possible on a humble spectrum with standard means. Artonapolis has really shown what the later years of the Spectrum was like with coders understanding what was possible and pushing that little more we got great games like Savage and even a couple of years ago this very game :) Give it a go its absolutely amazing fun 😁
