🏖️ Join us for a sunny morning seaside walk in Torrevieja – a lively seaside town on Spain's Costa Blanca, about 50 km south of Alicante. 🌍 ☀️ We start at the small cove of Cala del Palangre, pass the tiled "Las Columnas" monument on Punta Carral, stroll along Playa del Cura and the palm-lined Paseo Marítimo Juan Aparicio, and finish at the marina on Paseo Vista Alegre. No talking, just real sounds – waves, cafés and the summer atmosphere of the Mediterranean in 4K 60 fps. The name Torrevieja means "old tower" – after an ancient watchtower on this coast. The town grew around salt: just west of the centre lie the famous pink salt lakes of La Mata and Torrevieja, a natural park since 1989, and in the early 20th century about a quarter of all salt sold in Spain came from here. In 1829 an earthquake levelled the whole town, so most of what you see was built afterwards. Today about 98,500 people live in Torrevieja, and roughly four in ten residents come from abroad.
