Half a Tank to Somewhere | Southern Country Rock | Official Music Video

“Half a Tank to Somewhere” is a Southern country-rock song about two friends, a last-minute road trip, and finally taking the break they’ve been putting off. Jess pulls up with a grocery bag, a little free time, and no interest in another excuse. The laundry can wait. So can the lawn. With half a tank of gas and a little cash between them, they head out to see where the weekend takes them. A questionable motel pool, roadside souvenirs, a paper map that won’t fold, and a band playing behind a little bar — nothing goes quite as planned, and that’s what makes it worth remembering. Driven by crunchy electric guitars, punchy drums, and a confident female vocal, this original country-rock track celebrates friendship, spontaneity, and the relief of getting away long enough to breathe. “We’ve been saying ‘someday’ since last July She tapped the dash and I climbed inside.” The cinematic music video follows their journey through Texas back roads, warm motel afternoons, outdoor live music, and a quiet breakfast where the trip starts to mean something more. For fans of Southern rock, Americana, female country vocals, and feel-good driving music. Add it to your road trip playlist and send it to the friend who always says, “We should go somewhere.” 💬 Who would you take on a trip with no fixed destination? 🎸 Turn it up, share it, and subscribe for more original country-rock music. #HalfATankToSomewhere #CountryRock #SouthernRock
