B-17 Vet takes step back in time.

During a recent visit to Denver, The Experimental Aircraft Association in conjunction with Wings over the Rockies Air and Space Museum hosted EAA's B-17 Aluminum Overcast. It's an opportunity for all ages, but especially those who are still with us, who flew the missions with the 8th Air Force in WWII, to re-visit an aircraft who got them there, and got them home and kept us free. One such veteran is Mitch Mischler, an active Wings Volunteer at the young age or 89, who shared his personal experiences flying 25 missions with the 8th Air Force. Mitch, and tens of thousands of others flew, fought and kept us free. This video is in tribute to those who made it home, and to those who paid the supreme sacrifice for the freedom we enjoy today. Special thanks to Mitch Mischler for his dedication to our nation and for giving of his time to Wings over the Rockies and to the production of this video.
