Welcome to 18 Minutes #DramaFree. Bloody Magic with Svetlana Shapovaliants. This episode is part of Svetlana Shapovaliants’ larger exploration of play — what happens to us when we begin something new, meet resistance, and discover that the biggest challenge is not always the game itself. In this episode, we talk about Clean Language, #DramaFree tools, and therapeutic approaches that can help when you are just starting to play — padel or anything else — and suddenly find yourself facing challenges from every direction. Your body may not do what you want it to do. Your opponents may trigger you. The community around the game may feel intimidating. Your own expectations may become overwhelming. And then there is your ego — the part of you that wants to be better, faster, stronger, and successful immediately. We explore how to notice these different sources of drama, understand what is actually happening inside you, and regulate your reactions so that frustration does not take over the whole experience. We also introduce First Time with Sveta — a special format where anyone in Belgrade or Novi Sad can take part, try something for the first time together with Svetlana, and explore what happens when we meet the unknown with curiosity instead of judgement. And we talk about the #DramaFree Padel Camp, a new format launched this year — bringing together play, self-awareness, practical tools, and a different way of experiencing yourself on and off the court.
