“Buri — The First God” is a cinematic Nordic rock song inspired by one of the earliest moments in Norse creation myth — the emergence of the first divine ancestor from the frozen silence of the primordial world. After Audhumla fed Ymir with her milk, she turned to the ancient salt-covered ice. Day after day, she licked the frozen surface until a figure began to appear. First came the hair. Then the head. And finally, Buri stood revealed — the first of the gods and the beginning of the divine bloodline. This song follows that moment when the balance of the first world changed. From Buri would come Bor, and from Bor would come Odin, Vili and Vé. Long before Asgard, long before the hammer, and long before the gods shaped the world from Ymir’s body, the line had already begun in ice. With Nordic cinematic folk-rock, powerful male vocals, deep ritual choirs, ethereal female harmonies, tagelharpa, bowed lyre, dark cello, tribal drums, low brass and frozen atmospheric textures, “Buri — The First God” turns the birth of the divine lineage into a solemn and monumental anthem. This is not the rise of Asgard. This is the bloodline that made Asgard possible. Before Odin. Before Thor. Before the throne. There was Buri.
