Inside a One of a Kind Island Cottage on Lake Muskoka

Set on a private island on Lake Muskoka, this one-of-a-kind True North Log Home was designed around the way the owners wanted to experience cottage life. Boat access only. Panoramic lake views. Large gathering spaces. And a custom design created to make entertaining feel effortless. From the moment you arrive, the home is connected to the landscape around it. Expansive windows open up views across the lake, while the interior spaces are designed to bring people together, whether that means hosting family and friends, enjoying a quiet morning on the water or settling in after a day on the lake. This is what custom design can look like when the property, the lifestyle and the vision all come together. Every True North Log Home starts with a different piece of land, a different family and a different idea of what home should feel like. This Lake Muskoka retreat is a perfect example. A place designed to entertain. A place designed to unwind. A place designed to truly enjoy Muskoka life.
