My Chiari Decompression Surgery! | August 6th-8th, 2021 | ♡

When I was 16 years old I was diagnosed with Chiari Malformation type 1. It's a congenital disease that makes the cerebellum slide out of the skull. It blocked my cerebrospinal fluid from flowing correctly and it made it really hard to walk or use my arms. I would've died if I didn't have a craniectomy. I was slowly dying so I chose to get the surgery. after the surgery, my life changed alot. I'm doing much better now!
