The Choice I Make (READ THE DESCRIPTION - ENG/PT)

ENGLISH *“The Choice I Make”* is a song about taking back control of your own life. It tells the story of someone who spent years living through other people’s expectations, carrying borrowed beliefs, seeking approval, and allowing fear and the past to define who he was. But everything changes when he finally turns inward and realizes that freedom begins with responsibility. The central message of the song is: **“Oh, the choice is mine It starts and ends with me.”** We cannot change yesterday. We cannot control other people. But we can decide what we do next. The song moves from darkness and inner conflict toward awakening, redemption, self-control and freedom. Lines such as: **“In the field of redemption I found my self-control”** represent the real battlefield: the one inside ourselves. And when the lyrics say: **“The buried light within me Wakes for all eternity”** it reflects the idea that our strength and capacity to change may be hidden, but they are never truly gone. “The Choice I Make” is about facing the past without becoming its prisoner, letting go of what no longer belongs to us, and choosing a different path. Because sometimes the greatest change in our lives begins with one simple realization: *The choice is mine.* — *CarfanaOne* --- PORTUGUÊS *“The Choice I Make”* é uma música sobre retomar o controle da própria vida. A mensagem central da música é: **“Oh, the choice is mine It starts and ends with me.”** **“A escolha é minha. Quando a letra diz: **“In the field of redemption I found my self-control”** o verdadeiro campo de batalha não está fora de nós. Está dentro. E em: **“The buried light within me Wakes for all eternity”** a ideia é que nossa força e nossa capacidade de mudar podem ficar escondidas, mas nunca desaparecem completamente.
