Home Energy Storage: Backup, Savings, and Grid Support | Danny Robinson

Could a home battery provide backup power, help lower electricity costs, and support a more flexible grid? Danny Robinson, co-founder and CEO of First Point Energy Supply, explains why he sees residential batteries as a major opportunity for installers and homeowners. In this episode, Danny discusses how battery costs have changed, why some homeowners are using batteries to shift electricity use, and how distributed storage could help utilities manage demand. He also shares First Point’s approach to distributing batteries and inverters through electricians and solar installers.
