Houthi forces have reportedly launched missiles and drones targeting strategic locations in Saudi Arabia, raising questions about the effectiveness of US-made Patriot and THAAD air defence systems. According to the provided report, analysts have examined several possible factors behind the alleged breaches, including coordinated drone swarms, simultaneous cruise and ballistic missile launches, low-altitude flight paths, and missiles capable of manoeuvring during flight. The report also claims that shortages of interceptor missiles may have weakened Saudi Arabia’s ability to respond to large-scale attacks. These technical explanations and claims of successful penetrations require independent verification. Meanwhile, Houthi forces have reportedly launched counterattacks against Yemeni government troops backed by Saudi Arabia during military operations in Yemen, particularly in the desert areas of Marib and near the Al-Jawf border, as well as the mountainous regions of Taiz. Videos circulated by Houthi-affiliated Ansarullah media allegedly show attacks on military convoys and armoured vehicles moving through exposed desert and mountainous terrain. According to the report, Houthi fighters used mortars and rocket-propelled grenades (RPGs) against armoured vehicles, with footage purportedly showing explosions, damaged vehicles, and government troops retreating from exposed positions. The report portrays these attacks as evidence of the difficulties faced by Saudi-backed Yemeni government forces operating in open terrain without adequate preparation or effective battlefield protection. However, the authenticity of the footage, the extent of the reported casualties, and the precise circumstances of the engagements have not been independently established. . 👉TikTok :   / divainaonline   © 2025 by Divaina Online All rights reserved.
