I want to share a truth that can shift the entire course of your day, open the gates of heaven over your life, and bring you the peace of God that surpasses all understanding. Too often, we begin our mornings rushing headfirst into the demands of life—checking our phones, stepping out the door, or diving into the busyness—without first pausing to acknowledge the One who holds our very breath in His hands. But today, I declare to you: Always pray first. Before you check your phone, before you walk out the door, before you immerse yourself in the busyness of life, pause and step into God’s presence. Scripture tells us in Matthew 6:33, “But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.” This means when you put God first at the start of your day, everything else aligns. When you prioritize Him, He goes before you, straightening every crooked path. When you begin with prayer, you bring yourself into alignment with heaven’s plans.
