RAIN ON THE PRISON WINDOW | Southern Gothic Prison Blues

RAIN ON THE PRISON WINDOW is a Southern Gothic prison blues song about a man who has spent years watching the world through a small barred window. He counts time in rain, waiting for the day the door finally opens. But when freedom gets close, another fear begins to grow: after so many years inside, who will he be when there are no walls left around him? Built on dark country, prison blues, Delta blues and Southern Gothic atmosphere, this is a story about time, identity and the fear of becoming free after learning how to survive confinement.
