The Main Event 180: An Interview with Natalie de Groot With over 20 years of experience in California's fashion industry, Natalie is a trailblazer in digital fashion. It’s no wonder that she embraced A.I. early on. In April 2025, Natalie founded The Fashion Agency, where she is also the creative director. The Fashion Agency bridges traditional craftsmanship with next-generation innovation. Their work includes AI-powered fashion design, original design creation, creative direction, lookbooks, and video campaigns—each designed to accelerate development, reduce waste, and expand creative possibilities. Natalie and I became friends when A.I. was in its infancy. This will be her second time on The Main Event; she first joined us on episode 84 in September 2024. Back then, The Main Event was audio-only, so when she joins us on September 11, 2026, we will not only be able to talk with her face-to-face, but also see a whole lot of her fabulous work. Natalie is a real pro in every sense of the word!
