Overnight in a DIY Log Shelter I Built From Scratch in Wild Newfoundland We're back in the remote Newfoundland wilderness for our very first overnight adventure in the DIY log shelter we built from scratch! With colder weather arriving and a fresh blanket of snow on the ground, it's time to put our little shelter to the test! We cut and gather firewood, get a roaring fire going in the woodstove, and cook up a delicious dinner before settling in for our first night in the shelter. The next morning, we get another fire going, cook up a hearty breakfast, and get back to work finishing the roof with moss to help protect the shelter from the elements.
