A Community is Born! 36-Home Development Completed As Families Share Joy

Welcome to Erin Grove, the Washington neighborhood's newest and most vibrant community in Long Beach, California. On August 29th, 2026, the community gathered with Habitat LA's corporate donor partners, community leaders, Mayor Rex Richardson, as well as friends and family alike, as we celebrated the 18 new homeowners getting the keys to their new homes. Share this moment with the families and hear what it feels like to be homeowners for the very first time. In total, 36 new homes are now complete and ready to provide the stability that communities need to thrive.
