Why Does Josh Allen Keep Getting a Pass for Losing Big Playoff Games?

Josh Allen is one of the most talented quarterbacks in football. But why does it feel like every time the Buffalo Bills come up short in a huge playoff game, the criticism never seems to match the praise? Josh Allen is one of the most talented quarterbacks in football. Nobody is arguing that. But here’s the question: Why does the criticism never seem to match the praise when Buffalo loses in January? Allen had FOUR giveaways in the Broncos playoff loss — and that game ended Buffalo’s season. 👇 So tell me: Does Josh Allen keep getting a pass for losing big playoff games? Even Cowboys Legend Michael Irvin Says the Jalen Hurts Disrespect Has Gone Too Far 🎥 Watch this next:    • Even Cowboys Legend Michael Irvin Says the...   That is the question I’m asking in this video. A recent clip from Stuff About Sports raised the idea that Josh Allen may have the best PR in football, and while I don’t agree with everything said in the clip, I do think there is a real conversation to be had about the way Allen is covered. Because talent is not the issue. The issue is accountability. In Buffalo’s 2026 playoff loss to the Denver Broncos, Allen threw two interceptions, lost two fumbles and finished with four total giveaways in a 33–30 overtime loss. That was a massive opportunity for Buffalo, and those mistakes mattered. Yet somehow, the conversation around Josh Allen often feels very different from the way other elite quarterbacks are treated when they fail in big moments. So is Josh Allen above criticism? Or has the football world become so invested in the idea of how talented he is that his playoff failures keep getting explained away? In this video, I break down the Josh Allen conversation, react to Stuff About Sports, revisit the Broncos playoff loss, and ask whether the praise and the accountability have become completely unbalanced. 👇 Let me know in the comments: Does Josh Allen get a pass for losing big playoff games? 🎬 JBOYKS SPORTS FOOTBALL covers NFL quarterback debates, Philadelphia Eagles football, media narratives, playoff performances and the biggest stories around the league. #JoshAllen #BuffaloBills #NFLPlayoffs #NFL #billsmafia 0:00 Why Does Josh Allen Keep Getting a Pass? 1:20 The Josh Allen Excuses 3:07 Is Josh Allen the NFL's Best Quarterback? 3:44 What the Player Rankings Really Mean 4:51 Does Josh Allen Carry the Heaviest Load? 6:11 Why Turnovers Absolutely Matter 6:49 Josh Allen's Playoff Mistakes 8:28 The Game Was Tied 8:51 Josh Allen Isn't Blameless 9:30 How Much Help Has Josh Allen Had? 10:35 When Does Winning Start to Matter? 11:15 Why Josh Allen Deserves Criticism 12:05 Final Thoughts JBOYKS SPORTS FOOTBALL covers the NFL from a different perspective.
