Man is made up of spirit, soul and body. The first two are housed in the body. You are defined mostly by your spirit and the soul. However, the body which is the least of the components of man tries to take advantage of the spirit and the soul by dominating and dictating their activities. At death, the body returns to the dust from which it was taking until the resurrection day when the body and the spirit will join together to face God’s judgement and give accounts of his/her activities on earth. The word of God-the Bible is the Spiritual food for our spirits. There are two types of spiritual food: Milk and solid food. Both "milk" and "solid food" are contained in the Bible. Recommended based on the spiritual age of the believer.
