I Don't Need the Map Anymore | The Shakedown Trip Ep. 3

Somewhere along the way, I stopped following the map... because I already knew the road home by heart. Day three of The Shakedown takes me through some of my favorite roads anywhere in Pennsylvania. To make up time, I hop onto the interstate for a short stretch before escaping back onto the backroads to visit one of my favorite places in the state—Worlds End State Park. From the quiet Rock Garden and scenic overlooks to smooth gravel forest roads, this stop never disappoints. The journey continues through beautiful mountain valleys, a visit to the legendary Big Mike's motorcycle stop, and the fascinating Marie Antoinette Overlook, where an unexpected piece of French history overlooks the Pennsylvania countryside. The best part? Somewhere during the ride, I realize I don't need the map anymore. These are the roads I grew up traveling. The scenery becomes familiar, the miles feel different, and before long I'm turning onto the driveway of the family farm where this journey was always meant to end.
