Kotel Shamsuddin: From the “Valley of Death” to a Rebuilt Mountain Pass Kotel Shamsuddin was once known as the “Valley of Death” because of its dangerous road conditions and tragic accidents that claimed the lives of drivers, vehicle assistants, and passengers. In this documentary, Yousaf Sakhi visits Kotel Shamsuddin to explore the mountain pass, see its current condition, and learn about its difficult past. The road was previously built to poor standards, creating serious dangers for people travelling through this mountainous area. Following reconstruction, the route now features 12 sharp bends. During this journey, we speak with Mr. Sharifi and Mr. Mohammadi, who share their painful personal experiences and memories of this once-dangerous road. *In this documentary, you will see:* The mountain landscapes and road of Kotel Shamsuddin The 12 bends of the mountain pass Stories of drivers who experienced its dangers Interviews with Mr. Sharifi and Mr. Mohammadi How the road has changed over the years This is more than a journey through the mountains.
