Paper I – General English: 100 Marks 2. Paper II – Dictation & Transcription: 400 Marks 3. Paper III – Computer Typing: 100 Marks Total Marks: 600 Candidates will first appear for the General English examination. Shortlisted candidates will be allowed to appear for the Dictation & Transcription and Computer Typing examinations. The final merit list will be prepared based on the combined marks obtained in all three papers. Can Candidates from Other States Apply? Yes. Candidates from Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Haryana, Delhi and other Indian states can apply, provided they fulfil the eligibility requirements. However, knowledge of Bengali is required, except for candidates whose mother tongue is Nepali. Reservation benefits for SC, ST, OBC and EWS categories are available only to eligible candidates from West Bengal.
