Thonock Lane Farm parkrun. Running on a Working Farm with Gorgeous Animals & Passionate parkrunners!

The plan was to head west and run at a parkrun around Manchester but due to the freezing weather then the majority of the parkruns in and around Manchester were cancelled. We were intending on saving this parkrun for the spring or summer and for a day when Poppy was parkrunning due to the animals and the flat course on grass. We had little choice but to bring our visit forward due to all of the cancellations! Don't let the course map, or description, put you off visiting this parkrun. On paper it is a two lapper, around three farmers fields, but in reality it is so much more than that. There are so many reasons to visit, whether it is the gorgeous animals, the fantastic community, the unbelievable homemade cakes from Williamsons Farm Shop, or what will be a very fast course when dry in the summer! Thonock Lane Farm parkrun is worth a visit for sure.
