We’re stuck in the “in-between” phase — we’ve closed the door on our old lives, but the door to our new one hasn’t officially opened yet. And now, we just learned we’ll be here another 6wks before our van is ready. Having no home base has made this phase of life feel weird, unsettled and a lot of times, exhausting. But the last 3mos on the road have also stretched us in ways we probably needed. We’re learning that this next chapter isn’t just about living in a van or traveling wherever we want. It’s also about letting go of the plan. Which, for 2 people like us - THAT'S HARD! And maybe that’s the lesson in all of this. We may have to wait a little longer for our van, but somewhere along the way, this unsettled stage has started to feel a little more normal. Our new normal. Plans change. Days take unexpected turns. And instead of fighting it, we’re learning to flow with the unknown, trust the journey, and stay open to the experiences and memories we never could have planned for anyway. So for now… Colorado is home.
