APDC IP (Instructor Pilots)

In 1974, Air Headquarters decided that the art of public speaking should be given more importance for potential officers. It was thus decided that All Pakistan Declamation Contest would be held at PAF Academy Risalpur and premier institutions of the country would be invited for participation. Still 1974 till date, APDC has been a regular feature on the academic training calender of the Academy. APDC is one of the biggest annual events. Some forty teams from major higher education institutes in Pakistan are invited to take part. The event takes place over four days during which a number of rounds are held. The PAF bears all the expenses of travel and accommodation of the teams. It is a matter of great satisfaction that declamation contest over the years has become a prestigious event for the leading colleges and universities of the country. #ip #apdc #repost
