Key Largo Adventures | Coral Reefs, Giant Tarpon & Faith in the Florida Keys

Join us as we explore Key Largo, Florida—from the coral reefs beneath the Atlantic to an unforgettable encounter with some enormous tarpon! We camped at John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park, the first undersea park in the United States. From there, we boarded a glass-bottom catamaran and traveled offshore for a fascinating look at the Florida Keys’ coral reef and marine life. Back on land, we walked through the park’s mangrove forest before driving south to Robbie’s Marina in Islamorada. That’s where Quinton worked up the courage to hand-feed the giant tarpon while Gennie handled the very important—and considerably safer—job of recording it! We ended our Key Largo visit by worshiping with the welcoming congregation at Key Largo Baptist BeaChurch. It was a wonderful reminder that wherever our travels take us, God is already there.
