I Thought This Would Be an Easy Half Marathon… Big Mistake 😬

I was accidentally roped into running the Yeovil Half Marathon — and it turned out to be far hillier than I expected! Set in the historic Saxon town of Yeovil, this beautifully undulating course took us past iconic landmarks like the Leonardo Helicopter Plant and Montacute House. Despite heavy legs, a lost pacer, and one brutal climb at mile 9, I pushed through to the finish. Was it a PB? Not even close. But was it worth it? Absolutely.
