After missing the spectacular views of Kanchenjunga and Mount Everest from Sandakphu, it was time to descend to Srikhola. But the journey turned into an adventure of its own! Heavy rain, thunder, hailstorms and extremely slippery trails made the descent through the forest challenging and scary. Completely drenched but with no option to stop, we had to keep moving until we reached safety. Sometimes, the journey tests you more than the destination ever could.
