This mix is a deep fusion of the Iranian soul and the freedom of Jazz, featuring the delicate strikes of the Santoor and Setar, the rhythmic heartbeat of the Tonbak, and the soulful, modern breath of the Saxophone and Piano. For over 3,000 years, regardless of religion or politics, this has been the most sacred tradition of the Persian world. It is a celebration of the triumph of light over darkness and the arrival of Spring. The heart of the home during this time is the Haft-Sin (The Seven S's).
