A LIFE OF IMPACT, LOVE & LASTING LEGACY 🌹🕊️ On Saturday, 18th July, 2026, IYPRODUCTIONS had the privilege of covering the 1st Year Remembrance of the late Dr. Hameed Abodunrin Folawiyo, held at the prestigious Blessing Hall, Eko Club, Lagos. The solemn event began with a Fidau prayer led by respected Islamic clerics, as family members, friends, associates, and well-wishers gathered to honour the memory of a man whose life was defined by kindness, generosity, humility, and unwavering compassion. One of the most emotional moments of the day came during the tribute session, when his beloved daughter, Ire Folawiyo, who organised the remembrance in honour of her late father with the support of her mother, Alhaja Mercy Silifat Aramide, became overwhelmed with emotion while sharing heartfelt memories of her father. It was a touching reminder that although loved ones may depart, the legacy of a life well lived lives on forever. The beautifully transformed hall was a breathtaking sight to behold. Adorned with elegant floral arrangements in shades of purple, gold, white, and yellow, every table and walkway reflected class, warmth, and excellence. The stunning décor created a serene yet celebratory atmosphere, providing a fitting and dignified setting to honour the remarkable life and legacy of the late Dr. Folawiyo. Guests were treated to an exquisite reception featuring a rich selection of local and continental delicacies, accompanied by assorted chilled refreshments. As a thoughtful keepsake, each guest received a beautifully customised loaf of bread, generously sponsored by Maryam Ladotun (New York), in loving memory of the late Dr. Folawiyo. Elegantly dressed in beautiful yellow Ankara and Aso-Oke attire, guests added warmth and colour to the occasion, while renowned Fuji maestro Sir Shina Akanni entertained everyone with soulful performances that perfectly complemented the atmosphere of remembrance and celebration.
