Federal Signal Modulator 2008, Attack/Wail: Franklin, TN (Williamson Co. Tornado Siren Test, HD)

Originally Recorded 7/1/2017 The words "loud" and "Modulator" isn't something that goes together in the siren world, but hey, it runs wail so that's always a plus. This one is located at a parking garage in downtown Franklin, TN. You may remember Charlie's video of this same siren when the system was experiencing radio issues. From ground level, its mounted pretty high for a siren this size, but if you enter the parking garage up to the top level, you can get up close and personal. From there, it wasn't bad volume wise. Everything sounded clear, and the echo was cool as well. I actually jumped when this first went off and it's far from the quietest siren I've done. I've never mapped out their entire system, but coverage seems well-saturated. Towards the end, you can hear a couple 2001s finish a cycle of attack before shutting down.
