Virtual Campfire Stories for Grownups: A Sunrise on the Veld

It's the first in our recurring Summer Reading program, Virtual Campfire Stories for Grownups! You'll get a new story each Monday morning at 8, just in time for your commute. Keep in mind that we will not be releasing a story on Monday 4 July 2022. Over the course of the summer Librarian Lily will read you six stories. They might be funny, serious, gentle, or spooky, but all of them will follow the theme of nature. Today's story is "A Sunrise on the Veld" by Doris Lessing, from her collection African Stories. Lessing's work is available through the library. #booktube #woburn #shortstory #librarylife #nature #summerreading
