TWO performances. ONE song. And two very different stages. Last night, I watched Nene Royal perform “Seven Nation Army” in the America’s Got Talent finals, and I absolutely LOVED it. But then something happened. OZONE released another performance of Nene singing the EXACT SAME SONG, this time alongside her band in the markets of Phuket, Thailand. And I couldn’t resist. After spending the last month watching Nene and OZONE perform together, I wanted to see how these two performances compare. What did she keep? What did she change? And how different is her performance when she’s playing alongside the musicians she’s known for years? So today, we’re doing BOTH. PART ONE: My genuine first-time reaction to Nene Royal and OZONE performing Seven Nation Army in Phuket.
