Derby Racer at Playland | NAPHA Ride Spotlight

Derby Racer at Playland was built by Tom Prior and Frederick Church in 1927. It includes 56 jumping horses carved by M.C. Illions at high speeds that pivot forward and backward to simulate horse racing. This one of only three Racing Derby Carousel left in operation worldwide. Playalnd is located in Rye, NY.
