Power Steering Rack & Pinion Disassembly and Rebuild // 3" Lug Install // 88 Ford Mustang #foxbody

I am trying to completely restore this 1988 Ford Mustang Foxbody for under $12,000. That means I will have to at least attempt to fix, repair or rebuild things that I might otherwise just fork out the money to replace with new or refurbished components. The steering rack is one of those things I'm going to attempt to rebuild with a kit and parts from RockAuto that cost me less than $100; whereas, a replacement power steering rack costs over $300. Now, coming from Porsches and BMWs, a $300 steering rack sounds like a steal of a bargain, but again, I'm trying to completely restore this Foxbody for under $12,000.
