4D3N Rawah Wilderness Backpacking

Four days, 3 nights in the Rawah Wilderness of northern Colorado. After passing the mass exodus of Labor Day visitors on the first few miles hiking in, we saw more wildlife than people the rest of the trip including a lot of moose. Quite a bit of smoke in the air the first couple days from all the wildfires in the northwest, but things eventually cleared up to a decent degree. 26 miles total with stays at Twin Crater Lakes, Rawah Lake #2 and Camp Lake.
