One thing to keep in mind is there are sometimes multiple line dance choreographies to the same song so when you go out to that in person lesson at your local line dance spot, get the name of the dance that's being taught from the instructor. After the lesson add the song to a playlist, find the version of the dance you learned and a demo video (if you need a reminder of the steps) so you can refresh as needed. Line dancing is a great place to start for beginner dancers, you'll learn repeated footwork patterns and it's a low pressure environment.
