This practice invites you to honour yourself exactly as you are, without needing to fix or perform. Moving slowly from head to toe, you’ll be guided to soften your face, release your shoulders, create space through the ribs and spine, and rest into the support beneath you. Throughout the meditation you’ll be reminded: “I accept myself as I am right now.” “It’s safe for me to rest.” “I don’t have to hold it all together.”* The audio gently loops, so you can continue to relax, drift into sleep, or stay in a long, spacious rest. This practice is especially soothing for times of stress, grief, fatigue, or when you’re simply longing to be held in kindness. Best for: Bedtime or deep rest Nervous system regulation Grief, overwhelm, or emotional fatigue Reconnecting with your body with tenderness and respect You are welcome here exactly as you are. --- 0:00 Arrival, welcome & settling the body 2:00 Softening the eyes, face & gentle acceptance 10:40 Breathing with longer exhales & self-forgiveness 14:30 “I don’t have to hold it all together” – face and jaw release 18:30 Throat, neck & “My voice can rest, my words can wait” 20:30 Collarbones, shoulders & upper arms soften 22:58 Hands, fingers & allowing yourself to be carried by gravity 23:04 Upper back, ribs & creating space to heal 28:30 Belly, lower back, pelvis & “My body knows how to be here” 32:30 Hips, legs & feeling supported and grounded 36:00 Feet, toes & “I am part of this living world” 40:19 Whole-body softening & deepening relaxation 42:44 Reassurance: “You will be okay, you will cope, you will find your way” 44:39–end Looping body scan, acceptance and “I will, I am, I can” affirmations for extended rest About Lauren Ostrowski Fenton(thats me) Lauren Ostrowski Fenton is a meditation teacher, yoga instructor, counselor, and Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner based in South Australia.
