Real time lapping , flattening session from start to finish + a little bit rambling in my bad English and real world perspective can you flatten a blue Belgian whetstone and a coticule on Naniwa flattening plate , stone 220 grit.
If you want a short answer - YES, you can - but is on the slow side.
If you want speed - buy an Atoma 140 or DMT XX Coarse diamond coated plates.
If you are in saving money - buy a piece of 10mm thick floating glass + 80,220,400 grit silicon carbide loose abrasive grain.
Keep in mind that Naniwa produces 24 grit flattening stones which will eat this particular stone in 30% of the time I spent in the video.
Will I recommend flattening your expensive razor hones on such plates - only if you have already one and do not want to spend more money and when I say more I mean a lot of for diamond coated plates.
If you work primarily with arkansas stones, coticules and thuringians - buy a set of XX Coarse and Fine 8 inch DMT's and keep these razor hones in perfect condition.
