Bettie Serveert - With A Little Help From My Friends (1998)

In 1998 Carol participated in a Dutch live music project called ‘With A Little Help From My Friend’, a collaboration with the Dutch Metropole Orkest conducted by Dick Bakker at the Paradiso in Amsterdam. The live show was recorded on 25 February, but broadcasted on 9 March ’98 on Dutch tv. Carol did the Bettie Serveert song ’Silent Spring’, accompanied by John Cale on piano. She also sang the Velvet Underground song ‘Venus in Furs’ and 2 Bettie songs, ‘D. Feathers’ and ‘Ray Ray Rain’ with the Metropole orchestra.
