The songs follow that: the first night in the booth, stars through the branches, a table set outside, one small lamp. Then the shelter itself — an everlasting wing, the secret place, a hiding place from the storm, a shade by day. Then the long wilderness, where they journeyed forty years and lacked nothing, and the cloud stayed over the dwelling. Then the drawing of the water. Then the ingathering, the full threshing floor and the last grapes left on the vine for the stranger. Then lamplight. And home at last to Yeshua, who pitched His tent among us, and to the true home — seven days in a shelter to learn that the house was never the point.
