This the first of two videos made in real time during Corona virus lock-down by Sussex based artist and art tutor Gill Bustamante. It demonstrates a very simple exercise in painting a bluebell wood. This is not a complicated painting. It is a simple, fast method of creating a landscape with bluebells that keeps to the basics and shows you what wet into wet painting is and what glazing is. It is aimed at beginners and intermediates. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, will be to paint something better than this as you won’t be faffing about trying to hold a camera and paint and talk at the same time!
