As a die-hard Star Wars fan, I am ashamed to admit that it took me this long to read the iconic Heir to the Empire Trilogy by Timothy Zahn from the 90's. After years and years of hype and expectations, I decided it was time for me to make my Star Wars pilgrimage back to these seminal novels. I have a lot of thoughts on what worked, and what didnt work. I discuss the lack of arcs for the OT characters, why some plot beats left me disappointed, and this story's undeniable impact on Star Wars today.
