[MW] 1538 (sic!) kHz - UNID Greek pirate 🏴‍☠️ - received in Poland, Sep 15 2026

An unidentified Greek pirate was present overnight on Tuesday September 15th, 2026 on an odd frequency of 1538 kHz - instead of nominal European channel of 1539 kHz. This was received while I was looking for Trans-Atlantic DX, so my small rotatable terminated loop was pointing away from Greece... but still not right to the back, so some signal still crept in. And the other way 'round, this transmission was logged across the ocean, by Mark Connelly, WA1ION, in South Yarmouth, MA, USA. Possibly in the kilowatt range...
