Can I Finish In The Top 1000 with an AUTOMATIC Gearbox?

I am not a fan at all of Automatic, however I am awaiting my new shifter to arrive so I am testing out the auto gearbox. On road racing games I imagine its much smoother, when sliding a rally car and the gear changes mid corner, you can find it more difficult to control, or at least that is my experience. DiRT Rally 2 Assetto Corsa Rally EA WRC Anything Rally, you come to the right place.
